I've heard of it, briefly. But not much. Is it a whole new album, or just a song?

Yeah, it's been pissing me off lately. And this song makes America sound so egotistic because we're really not doing much (like, aside from that cd and a few stupid charities) to do anything about the suffering in other parts of the world... OR OUR OWN CONTRY FOR THAT MATTER!!! So many people don't have homes or anything. It makes me want to do something. lol. So I am *is proud* I'm joining habitat for humanity this year.

woohoo i found the wikipedia thingy this is for the album:(click the last one) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instant_KarmaThis is Green Days Working Class Hero Cover: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Working_Class_Hero#Green_Day_coverA quote from the second page:When asked why they chose the song, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said, "We wanted to do 'Working Class Hero' because its themes of alienation, class, and social status really resonated with us. It's such a raw, aggressive song -- just that line: 'you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see' -- we felt we could really sink our teeth into it. I hope we've done him justice."
I think that its a good song.. and GD is right about the song.. the way they put it is.. In darfur there is alot of people doing a bunch of nasty things which people shouldn't do and that it should be stopped! even though its been happening for such a long time and we should of done it a long time ago, people should still help them out.

Yeah, they did such an awesome job on the song. You could really feel the emotion they put into it. I actually shed a tear or two while listening to it for the first time. It's really upsetting when you stop and think about all of the horrible things that are going on in the world today.
