.... Green Day's Holiday video?
I loved it and all, except when they had to throw in those women with the ripped fish net tights and those little skimpy green outfits. I'm sorry, but I'm the kind of girl who gets offended when it comes to stuff like that. I just hate how women disrespect themselves like that.
And I thought Green Day was better than that. I mean, just that video sort made me a little sour towards them. Don't get me wrong, I still adore them and their music, but that part of the video was just... ick.

My view on that was that sex sells. It's horible, but if that's how it is. And at least they weren't in the entire video... just there at the end... My sister and I make fun of those girls... ha ha. And actually Say Anything used one of those moves in their video "Wow (I can get sexual too)" which I thought was pretty cool.

Yeah, it sucks that, that's how it is today. I just hate how women are often looked at as sex objects. And what's even more annoying is that they allow it! I mean, do they have an respect for themselves? (this isn't necessarily talking about the girls in the video. Just in general)... I actually was in a debate last night with my friends Dan and Jackie. We were discussing something my friend Jackie and I are VERY strongly against, Hooters. Dan claimed he went there only for the food because they have "the best wings". But Jackie and me were saying you can't go there and NOT see the half naked women who are serving you. He then said "I don't go there for the women. Only the food. I respect women and don't think of them as objects. I think of them as people." (by this point the conversation had been going on for about 15 minutes and I was getting VERY frustrated so I removed myself from the discussion.) Jackie and him went back and forth for about a half hour. Finally he admitted he had gone to Hooters a total of two times and would never go there again. He also called himself a "pig" and said that Hooters was wrong. We told him that when people think of Hooters they don't think of "good wings" they think of BOOBS! That's what Hooters is about. Jackie's friend Mike was saying "Hooters is just like any other place" and I'm like, "No it's not. If you think Outback Steakhouse you think of good food and good service. If you think Hooters, you think half naked women with big boobs everywhere" I'm sorry, but when it comes to stuff like this I get very defensive.

ha ha. i donno. i'm really not against it. honestly, if i had the body for it, i'd probably be dressing a little bit more provocative too (not like overly though). I mean, I understand why a lot of them do that sort of thing... it's kind of like a stri[ club (yes, I'm actually comparing strippers to hooter girls). A lot of them didn't go to college and probably barely passed high school. There's not a whole lot of places they can work anymore. I have a few friends who are strippers and they say if that's what they have to do to stay alive, they're going to do it. But I think if they make girls walk around in tight cut-off shirts at hooters, they should also make guys walk around in boxers at hooters ;p
